Intriguing experiment that uses different media to visualise the tension between sexual reality and sensual fantasy.
Synopsis
SEX/LESS experiments with the effects and emotions that different media evoke in people. The solo sex in the hard, cold video footage is flatly opposed to the sensual fantasy in the soft 16mm image.
Intention Note
It is sex without sex, that a body becomes someone else’s than mine, and the subject of illusion becomes its object. The state is somewhat similar to the boundary between screened images from a dv tape and a 16mm print.
